Twas an overcast brisk morning when Lan set out for her first outing with her 'til then buddy (TTB) since the 28th of January 2010. The agenda for the day was loosely based around giving her a tour of ever humble Footscray and all the culinary delights it has to offer.
They began with what was later described as 'the best pho everrr' before walking off their satisfying (hopefully msg-less) bloaty-ness around the streets of Footscray. Despite its notorious reputation for druggies and other unsavoury activities, the greatest crime witnessed was in fact committed by Lan and TTB themselves.

Lan had failed to notice that there had apparently been an invisible line that demarcated areas of the market where it was still permissible to wander and another where entry would be met with furious yells of "OI! Get back. GO BACK!!" from the security man. Oops.
Next followed a trip down to beloved BubbleCup before getting into Sivvy and scooting off to Highpoint.

Lan and TTB then both shared their thoughts on the nuances of university living,changing perceptions and life decisions while happily slurping away at their bubblecups. Deep stuff.
As they got up to leave, a glint of gold caught Lan's eye and she politely asked if TTB would like to be 2 dollars richer. TTB hesitantly (and bravely) declined and had walked about 20 paces before surrendering and suggesting with a grin that it should be put to good use. This 'good use' happened to be playing that arcade game where one attempts to navigate a too-weak (RIGGED) hook towards a prize of your choosing. After employing some very clever tactics, they managed to win a prize! SCORE.
