It has been an extremely hectic summer for Lan.
Endless placements back to back with uni rotations are taking their toll. Her most recent placement (at Yarrambat) exposed her to new cases that she had not seen before which was intellectually rewarding. She thought the clinic's location was very ideal- semi rural and yet close enough to be considered part of Melbourne. The only negative was waking up early for the 1 hour drive and having to find enough energy to drive back home once she was done at around 7pm. Otherwise the undulating roads provided enough of a navigational challenge to keep Lan awake.
A rather belated thank you for those who attended her birthday celebrations a month ago. Much appreciated given everyone's busy schedules especially the vet students =)
2010 was a mixed bag. Lan gained some and lost others.
Here's to 2011 being the best year yet (which hopefully includes graduating as planned)!
And more sport!
